Route was home - Ampang Hill - Batu 18 - Semenyih - Broga - Lenggeng (water stop) - KK Petronas (corn and water) - Perez reverse (57.5min) - First Kampong Grocery Store (jelly) - Batu 18 (100 plus, the tebu stall seems to have closed down) - Ampang Hill - Home (bought newspaper near the house).
Left home 7.47 am. Home 4.18pm
Average speed: 20.4 km/h
Weather: Cloudy / rain up to KK. Then sunshine, but not hot.
Food: 4 gels, corn, jelly, water, 100plus, gatorade
Brain thoughts: Go slow, don't want the wife to rescue me again. Dr Tan is going thru much worse.

For a good few minutes, as soon as I got home, I was motionless. It was such an effort. But after a while you feel better.

SUNDAY'S RUN
Unlike previously in Oct when I could do a 20 km run, this time I could only muster a 8km walk/jog - 1 hr 25min.

KL MARATHON
I have registered for the 42km, I will collect the nice race running vest. Not sure whether I will wake up though (5 am start). I won't finish the 42km.

I am quite relieved
Cheers
Thank you Paul.
Dr Tan was not an official finisher at China, according to the wife. So devastating.
Sofian
Hey Sofian, I know you will wake up an after following Dr. Tan's heroics I KNOW YOU'LL finish. Come on dude you're as much a Malaysian sporting Icon and legend as Dr. Tan. If he can then you can!
I spoke to Dr. Tan last night, he didn't get a finishers medal - they only gave him the T-Shirt because of the camel ride. Still cheerful and doesn't regret doing the race, he said it was so much harder than MDS. Altitude, huge dangerous decents and minimal medical support.
See you Sunday morning at about 4:30a.m.
Ha ha
Simon is pressuring me.
Wonder if Dr Tan will turn up on Sunday. Everyone wants to talk to him.
Thank you Simon. See you 4.30 am
