Felt tired from the exertions of the week.
Saw Kingdom of Heaven at KLCC with the wife.
Went to Shah Alam pool. Got there at 4.30 pm, it has new opening hours, it will close at 5.15pm. It was a lovely day, sun shining.
The pool is a sad state of affairs. Such a magnificient pool, but very poorly maintained.
Swam 40 mins in total. Mostly 100m repeats on 2m 15sec. Did 500m time-trial, only managed 9 mins 45 sec. That means my 1,500m would be around 30 mins. Before the accident I could do 24 mins without thinking.
My swimming is slow, no proper place to swim. Times are bad....
34 years of endurance sports. Endured a heart attack and major surgeries, but I'm still at it. Only Open Water Swimming now. Very ably supported by my Thai wife, Tip. We are living in Malaysia and I swim to stay healthy.
