Frighteningly Rosy

They were without legends, Paul Scholes and Ryan Giggs. Cristiano Ronaldo had a poor game, but Manchester United still played a very good game. Credit to Middlesborough, who tried to play an attacking game at Old Trafford, which however exposed itself to United's counter attack.

Things sure look rosy for the next few years.
Andersson is only 19 years, Nani 20, Rooney 22, Tevez 23, Ronaldo 22, Rio Ferdinand is 28, Vidic 26, Owen Hargreaves and Carrick 26 and so on.

Possible chinks
Right back is weak. I prefer Danny Simpson to the present person. I guess Fergie knows best. No proper back up for Evra at Left back. No proper back up for Rooney and Tevez. Thus the rumours that United are in for a striker.
The injury to Scholes is such a let down. It was his return from his eye injury last season which helped us win the League. We had thought that Hargreaves and Andersson would be surplus to requirements, well another outstanding decision by Fergie on hindsight.
