There was only a small improvement in attendees compared to Thursday. Chew brought along Loong (who is still very fit), Joo Ngan cycled to the Orang Asli area only and me.
We went to Janda Baik. Exactly the same ride as Thursday but it took me a good 28 mins longer (114 km, 5 hrs 16 min). Wow lots of soul searching, what went wrong.
I don't know what went wrong. Maybe I had not recovered from Thursday. My fitness is not like before. The two days total rest might have been a mistake too.
Sorry to keep Chew and Loong waiting for me for 25 minutes.
34 years of endurance sports. Endured a heart attack and major surgeries, but I'm still at it. Only Open Water Swimming now. Very ably supported by my Thai wife, Tip. We are living in Malaysia and I swim to stay healthy.
