TUESDAY 31 JAN 2006
Still did not recover from Sunday.
Cycled from home to Orang Asli Hospital and had roti canai. Cycled back, saw Japanese Sam, tried to chase him but could not. Reached home 2.5 hours ride.
WENT RUNNING. 40 mins at 11.30 am in the heat. That was good. But my heel / feet started to ache again. I wonder if I can even complete the walk at Langkawi.
WEDNESDAY 1 FEB 2006
Went swimming at Shah Alam with my new friend ADIP. I totalled about 4.6 km consisting of 1.6km warm up, then 30 X 100m on 2 mins 10 secs. ADIP tried to follow as much as he could. He has improved a lot.
THURSDAY 2 FEB 2006
Dr Tan was back in town. Japanese Sam joined us. Basically Dr Tan blew us away. We totalled 150 km in 6.5 hrs. It was much too fast. Its amazing, prior to this Dr Tan was always behind and he did no cycling during the hols. His secret was weight training at his holiday home in PD.
We started at Pekan Batu 14, went to Kuala Kelawang, did the Jeram Toi Hill, back to Pekan Batu 14. I said no more. Dr Tan's pace had killed me.
FRIDAY 3 FEB 2006
Felt so tired.
So only did 17 x 100 m on 2 mins 10 at Bukit Jalil.
SATURDAY 4 FEB 2006
The Empire strikes back.
Leong from ESSO USA, joined me and Dr Tan.
We went to Bentong. I started from the house, they started from Orang Asli. I also did two extra laps (the tough McDonalds roundabout).
We had the lovely ice cream at Bentong.
In total it was 170 km and 7 hours for me. Nice, tough and hot day.
SUNDAY 5 FEB 2006
Felt so useless, only did 12 mins of swimming at Bukit Jalil.
