DESARU Prize Winners

It was Emma's day, first overall lady.
First overall man was Elmar.


Prize money was given six deep per age group. Winner of the LD got RM1,600 whilst SPRINT got RM400. There was no prize money for overall men or women.

Err my time was 7h 11min (versus 6h 32m in 2007)
33m swim (versus 51m in 2007). 3h 11m bike (versus 3h 22m in 2007). Transitions 5m. Run 3h 20m.
It wasn't a good time, who cares, I'm doing what I love most.

Well you beat me at one thing...your race report :) Thanks for your support Sofian, really appreciated. I had an awesome weekend the placing and timing is the cherry on the cake for all the hard work and doing it with a great group of likeminded friends makes up for all the pain in training!

Total time drop from 6hr 34m to 7 hr 11m. I think the drive down knocked me out (did not drink water).
Not doing IMWA but may go to Perth since already have the air tickets. See the economy.

Oops sorry, my mistake. I saw it as the other way round. Anyway, yeah like you said, enjoying doing it is what's important. Finishing is always an achievement.
