Sunday in Phuket

We rented a Suzuki Vitarra at RM70 for 24 hours. RM15 of petrol is only good for 30 mins of driving.
Took the coastal road past Karon (the WHOLE stretch of beach is being re-done), Patong (our McDonalds is still under renovation), past Kamala, Surin then visited my wife's uncle near the huge Tesco Lotus (their Central shopping mall is even much bigger).
Asked for directions a few hundred times then headed for Cape Panwa to see the Phuket Aquarium. RM5 entry fee. The lunch we had nearby in front of a Navy base was really good. Farang owner. Filled up Petrol then went to Rawaii or something, lots of long tailed fishing boats. Went by Laem Prompthep again, that coastal area is beautiful.
There is a beautiful small beach between Nai Harn and Prompthep. Its smashed up. Nai Harn has been redone. SABANA is open looks fine. Lots of works still ongoing on the roads and near the Sea Sands place.

Training swam one hour at the hotel pool. Jiva Resort is lovely place but there is noone there. So pitiful. It has one huge curvy pool, but i went to another normal shaped pool and did my stuff. I am happy to report that I can now swim comfortably with my broken arm.
