Dr Tan has successfully completed Day 2 of the Gobi Desert Race. Day 2 is about 41 km long. His time was 10 hr 23 min.
Overall Dr Tan is in 120th position out of 122 competitors left. 3 more competitors withdrew. Two ladies that were slightly behind him after Day 1 are now slightly in front. Two other men are now about an hour behind him.
Dr Tan's times are quite consistent. This a good sign, i.e. he did not seem to have got a new injury.
The live update of the web-site said he is "looking strong and in good spirits".
